SIGHS AND SILENCES FROM THE DEEP SPACE

Sighs and silences from the deep space by Project-To is a new sonorization. It is also a site-specific work that dialogues on the one hand with the architecture of the Basilica and on the other with the sculptures of Peter Senoner. Sighs and silences from the deep space is based on an algorithm that combines sound fragments (voices, sounds, frequencies) according to a stochastic logic, making impossible (or at least highly improbable) a sequence already heard.

The sound is made possible by the interpretation of Eleni Molos who, with her voice, gives substance to the dialogue between distant presences, offering the visitor an ever different listening experience.
